Fully Funded  Scholarships for International Students 2022/2023 TAIWAN

The scholarship opportunity will be offered through The New Southbound Talent Development Program that works a people-oriented approach. Its purpose is to foster bilateral exchange and mutual resources sharing.  With this opportunity, the chosen students will study at the National Pingtung University.

It is a public university located in Pingtung City, Pingtung County in Taiwan. NPTU was launched on 1st August 2014 by the merging of National Pingtung University of Education and National Pingtung Institute of Commerce.

The university has various campuses namely Pingshih Campus, Minsheng Campus, Checheng Campus and Pingshang Campus. NPTU has five colleges namely Liberal Arts and Sciences, Education, Computer Science, Management and Science.


Eligible Nationalities: Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal.


Eligible Courses and Subjects: Whatever they university offers will be considered.

Financial Benefits for Taiwan Ministry of Education Scholarships

The financial coverage includes an award amounting NTD 25,000 per month (NTD 300,000 per year).


Remark:  The applicants, who are seeking doctoral or Masters degrees, need to be lecturers presently in above mentioned countries.

Deadline for Applications

The last submission date for applications is 31st October 2022.
